I’m leading the Pessach seder

In a few weeks I’ll be leading the mock Pessach (Passover) seder at work. I work with Jewish elderly and every year it was the director of the organization that ran the seders because she’s a rabbi, but now that she’s left, I’m the one with the most Jewish knowledge.

Yep, that’s me! Well Dad, I hope you did a good job at the seders you lead because those are the majority of seders that I’ve been too.

Obviously I’m joking. I know you have always done, and continue to do, a great job. And now it’s my turn.

Actually, it’s not only the people from L’Chaim but also the people who go to the Seniors’ Lounge in the JCC. Wow. What an amazing opportunity.

It is interesting to think how many Jewish things I’ve run since arriving in Vancouver. Pre-teen services on the High Holidays, Hebrew school classes… Me the rebel, is filling a niche here.

Anyway, if anyone has resources that might be helpful in my endeavour, please don’t hesitate to send them my way! Thanks!
