Self censoring

There are so many excuses and reasons we give for censoring ourselves, either consciously or subconsciously.

We are afraid of failing. We are afraid of hurting people… The list is long and complex.

But there is one fact that is extremely simple. That is that one will never become a truly great writer until he/she overcomes self-censoring.

  1. Deena, I’m very impressed with your website. I really enjoy your style of writing. It’s easy to read and so “real”. Good luck with this!

  2. You know.. I’ve heard of that being pushed constantly; and its perfectly valid too. But that isn’t the most scary though, where as reflecting inside and taking little pieces sometimes off-context and extrapolating that into prose teams to offer and unsettled purity of who we are, its not bad nor good, just is.
